Announcing the 5th Annual Little Lake County Playground Tour!

Summer is officially underway and it wouldn’t be summer without the Little Lake County Playground Tour! This is our 5th year rocking the playground and we can’t wait to get started. Mark your calendars and save these dates because this is the can’t miss event of the summer!

Starting Thursday, June 7 Little Lake County is packing up the minivan and heading out for a series of playdates at a park near you! This year we have four BRAND NEW to the tour parks. No repeats! June, July, and August will be taking us to all the corners of Lake County as explore the trees, tubes, and slides of some of the best parks in the area.

If you have been on tour with us before you know that we don’t just visit a park, we make it a party! Our friends at the park districts can’t wait to meet you and show off all they have to offer. Plus we are bringing some awesome new toys from Y Volution for you to try out as well. Each stop will have different entertainment and activities so you will want to make it to each one!

Tour Stop #1: Thursday, June 7, 2018 ~ 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Citizens Park, Barrington Park District

We’ll have a full profile coming out later today but this playground features something for everyone with a rubber mulch play area, nature walk, ampitheater and public art.  Registration opens later today!

Tour Stop #2: Tuesday, July 10, 2018 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Willow Stream Park, Buffalo Grove Park District

We’re joining the park district for their Free Fun Tuesday’s. Watch for the full review of this awesome park coming soon.

FREE Registration will open in July.

Tour Stop #3: Thursday, July 26, 2018 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Longmeadow Park, Mundelein Parks and Recreation Department

We love the community in Mundelein so we’re heading back, this time to Longmeadow Park. Tracy will give us a full review in the coming weeks.

Tour Stop #4: Wednesday, August 15, 2018 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Sunset Woods Parks, Park District of Highland Park

Your kids will flip for the out of this world designs at this well loved park. Jennifer tells you all about it in her profile of Sunset Woods Park.

Playdates are more fun with friends so we’re bringing some with us! Y-volution has sent us scooters from their product line the; Flicker LIFT, YGlider Deluxe, YGlider XL and the YGlider XL Deluxe. Pack a helmet and get ready to ride on these fun scooters! We’ll have a course set up so you can give them all a try. But that’s not all. We will be giving one away at every stop! That’s right, one pre-registered guest will be taking home a new scooter at every playdate!

All that fun is sure to work up an appetite. Our friends at GoGo squeeZ will again be fueling the fun with their on the go all natural applesauce pouches.
