Antioch Pool & Tot Swim {Review}

We’ve been checking things off our summer bucket list left and right, but with the cooler than usual and rainy weather, we haven’t been able to get in many water activities. So when the rain stopped earlier this week, we made a run to the new Antioch pool for Tot Swim as soon as the clouds broke!!

Antioch recently opened it’s brand new Aqua Center, which was built on the same site of their previous pool. The new pool features a small water playground area in shallow water with some spraying fountains for little ones. There is a 3 foot deep lap pool, small circular pool for lap walking with a current, and a deeper lap swim area with a large tube slide for older kids and adults.

We went for the Tot Swim offered Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The water playground area and 3 foot lap pool were open, but the deeper pool and water slide were closed. We paid a total of $3 to get in as kids under 4 are free (my 3 kids are are under 4). The admission price for Tot Swim is the same for both residents and non-residents. We were told that if we wanted to come back once tot swim was over, we simply needed to pay an additional $3 (the cost of open swim admission is $6) and get our hands stamped so they knew we’d already paid for tot swim. As we went on a somewhat cloudy morning, we pretty much had the place to ourselves!! Everything was very nice and clean, with the exception of a mosquito-infested bathroom and changing room area. We will definitely be back for the Antioch Tot Swim this summer!!
