You won’t need to fight over returning the tray tables to their full upright position. In fact, you don’t need to travel further than Wauconda to give your child a taste of France!
We’re very excited to host our “Travel to France” playdate at the Wauconda Area Library! There are so many opportunities for young minds to learn and explore at this very special library. Their Kid City area is truly a”playground for the mind” and features a makerspace, airplane-themed playspace, pretend supermarket, light table, LEGO wall, dress-up area and so much more.
Of course, we can’t forget their amazing collection of books and children’s programming. Be sure to visit their event calendar for programs that fit your family.

Library staff will tell stories and facilitate crafts that celebrate French culture. Native-speaking instructors from Language Stars Barrington will utilize their FunImmersion® techniques to introduce your child to the dulcet sounds of the French language.
