Bouncing off the Walls: A Bounce House Roundup {REVISITED}

Winter’s here and it’s time to plan where we are going to burn off our kid’s energy during the inclement weather.  We are sad to hear that a lot of our favorite bounce houses have closed over the summer. Don’t worry! There are still places open for business.

Bounces R Us/Round Lake {CLOSED}
This huge bounce space has several different bounce houses from slides to intricate obstacle courses. There is lots of room to run and fantastic sight-lines so you can keep track of multiple children relatively easily. They also offer bounce club cards which save you money on your open jump visits.

Inflatable Fun World/Volo {CLOSED}
Check out their fantastic variety of bounce houses with lots of open space for children to run around. There are no blind spots as far as I could see so you won’t lose track of your kids here. Ask for a punch card so you can earn free visits to their open jump sessions.

Monkey Joe’s/Lake Zurich {CLOSED}
Locations in Crystal Lake and Kenosha, WI are still open.
This bounce space offers a mini monkeys zone for children three and under in addition to their regular bounce space. Parents are free to bounce with their kids or hang out in the comfortable lounge area. And they go the extra step of handing out matching wrist bands to everyone so you know your child won’t leave without you. We really appreciate this extra safety precaution and their commitment to cleanliness. Check out our in-depth review of Monkey Joe’s here.

Pump It Up/Gurnee {CLOSED}
There are still locations open in Glenview, Schaumburg or Crystal Lake.

Pump It Up offer a tremendous variety of play equipment and lots of toddler toys for little ones who are not ready to jump. Being part of a chain has its perks and this place is incredibly clean and they have birthday parties down to a science.

Bella’s Bouncies Indoors/ Lake Villa
In addition to a good variety of bounce houses, they also have a tube and climbing structure that runs the length of the space. Be sure to get a free balloon and bag of popcorn before you leave. Read about Melissa’s Birthday party experience.

Jump Zone/Buffalo Grove
Jump Zone Buffalo Grove IL is an indoor inflatable playground with 8  kid inflatables and the most popular themes that children love! Jump Zone also has many open play times available to accommodate individual fun with family and friends whether your rewarding your child for a job well done in school or just to promote healthy, fun, exercise activities. There is also a location in Volo.

The Blast Zone/ Vernon Hills
Although it’s not strictly an indoor bounce house, this place looks like a lot of fun! The Blast Zone is a family-friendly play and party center that provides a safe, clean, and fun environment for your children.

Which bounce house are you going to visit this winter?
Dance academy of Libertyville
