The cakery working with the children’s museum could not be a more natural fit! Lovin Oven Cakery has been a prominent feature for Lake County families’ celebrations since 1989. They are well known for their cakes that are works of art. Almost too pretty to eat, but you should because the cakes are a sweet tooth delight.

The cakery is also well known for its donuts, (Bacon on a Maple Donut is rumored to be a fan favorite) cookies, and pastries. The staff is always helpful and polite even when it’s crowded and busy. Owner Matt Slovin comments,

The relationship between Busy Brains Children’s Museum and Lovin Oven Cakery is a natural one. The desire to connect children to growth through exploratory learning is as intuitive as consuming great food in the celebration of life’s milestones. We hope that our partnership will merge the excitement of these celebrations with the thrill of exploration and build a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Busy Brains Children’s Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation founded by Kathy Goers and Alison Price. Reaching more than 36,000 children and families through its traveling exhibits.  Allison Price, Executive Director of Busy Brains Children’s Museum said,
