Dia de los Ninos (Children’s Day) is a day celebrated in Mexico traditionally on April 30th since 1925. Usually schools would suspend lessons for the day and children would bring in their favorite foods to share with others. They would also play games and music. Sometimes children will be given presents by their families. Here in the US you can find some libraries participating in events called El Dia de los Libros (Day of the Books).
