Donate School Supplies- Zion {Give Back}

I know, I know, back to school already! Summer is just getting underway! For some students though summer is winding down and if the aisles at Target are any indication now is the time to start thinking about it!

For many families in our area providing adequate school supplies for their children is a struggle. Zion-Benton Public Library is trying to ease that burden with a school supply collection drive. They are collecting items Now through August 6 for low income families with children entering kindergarten through 8th grade.

As an added bonus beyond the feel good vibes of helping another family out, for  every five items donated you will receive a raffle ticket to win free movie coupons from the library.

School Supplies Needed:

  • Packages of #2 pencils
  • Notebooks
  • Loose leaf paper
  • Markers
  • Highlighters
  • Black and Blue Pens
  • Scissors
  • Protractor
  • Backpacks
  • Ruler
  • Pocket Folders
  • Boxes of Crayons
  • Glue Sticks
Please contact the Zion-Benton Library with any questions or to make donations. Let’s make sure all Lake County kids start school off on the right foot this year!
