Disclosure: This is part of the Huffy Moms on Bikes Ambassador Campaign.
Remember that feeling of joy as you and your friends sped up and down the block on your bike? We had a courtyard growing up with an oval “track” (sidewalk) that we would race around for hours on end. Now I watch my kids do the same with their friends. Back and forth, up and down the driveways and blocks. Riding is more fun with friends.
As a Huffy Mom’s on Bikes Ambassador, I want to encourage you to get back on your bike and enjoy those wondrous moments with your kids. I hope you and your family will join us for our first Community Bike ride!
Join us as we enjoy the last of the fall color at one of the gems of the Lake County Forest Preserve District, Independence Grove in Libertyville. We will meet at 2:00 pm in parking lot G (the first lot off the main entrance – look for the Little Lake County sign!). From there, we will all ride up to the Children’s Grove Playground.
Does Mom not have a bike? Come anyway because one registered attendee will win a brand new Huffy! We want parents to get back on their bikes and enjoy time with their kids and what better way than on a bike! We love taking our bikes on family adventures and everyday outings!
We’ll finish the day off with a playdate at the playground and some more fun giveaways to those in attendance. While this event is free to be eligible for the bike, you must register through Eventbrite.
We can’t wait to ride with you!

No purchase necessary to enter or win. This event is being held as part of the Mom’s on Bikes blogger program in partnership with Little Lake County and Peanut Butter in my Hair. I have been compensated by Huffy for my time in putting together this event and writing about biking in 2013. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
