Family Friendly Theatre in Chicago

Lake County is home to some great theatre for adults and children. During the holiday season though I like to treat my musical theatre loving girl to a day in the city. It’s an exciting adventure to see the city all decked out in it’s holiday finest and feels fancy for her to go to the city for a show.

Here are some family friendly shows happening this season, and some deals available for you as well!

MillionDollarQuartet

The hit Musical Million Dollar Quartet has extended it’s stay AND added some Family-Friendly shows.  This Tony Award winning rock ‘n’ roll musical has set a new record for longest-running Broadway musical in Chicago.  The musical is inspired by the famed 1956 recording session that brought together legendary rock ‘n’ roll icons Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley and is fun for the whole family.

Tickets for the family nights are buy one, get one free – one child under the age of 17 will be admitted free with each adult ticket purchase.  The performance on these nights will be a perfectly family friendly 90 minutes and will feature special gifts and giveaways.  The whole family will be on their feet dancing, clapping and singing along.  Family Nights are January 11, February 1 and March 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Can’t make those nights? Goldstar has tickets available for November Dates.
