An annual event, the tent opens at 3:30 and there is a $5 cover after 5:00 p.m. - Glencoe – Fourth of July Fest
Throughout the day the Glencoe Park District will host patriotic games, music performances, and activities for all ages. - Great Lakes Naval Station – Ross Field holds one of the best festivals you can experience for Independence Day! With roving characters and food booths, a rock wall, kid zone, live music, paintball, military display and more! This is a must-see event! Includes a children’s bike and pet parade, fourth fest, Bitter Jester Music festival. - Lake Bluff – 4th of July Parade and Celebration
Following parade, there will be a cookout and kids activities on the Village Green. - Lake Bluff – Independence Day at the Pool
Admission is buy one get one half off and there will be grilled fresh hot dogs available. - Lake Forest – 13th Annual Lake Forest Festival
Admission is $15 residents/$20 non-residents – children younger than 5 are free. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. - Lake Zurich– 4th of July Celebration

July Fourth Parades in Lake County
Thursday, 4 July
- Antioch – Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. from ACHS
- Barrington – The parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. from Barrington High School
- Deerfield – Bike Parade at 9:00 a.m., Full parade at noon stepping of from Deerspring Pool.
- Glencoe – 3:00 p.m. starts at Central School
- Hawthorn Woods – The parade starts at Falkirk and Carlisle at 10:00 a.m.
- Highland Park – Children’s Bike and Pet parade are at 9:30 a.m. at St. Johns and Laurel Avenues. Full Parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. from that same corner.
- Lake Bluff – The biggest parade in Lake County runs through downtown Lake Bluff and kicks off with the children’s parade at 9:15 a.m. followed by the main parade at 10:00 a.m.
- Lincolnshire – 11:00 a.m. Starting at Swim Club on Riverwoods and Yorkshire Drive.
- Vernon Hills – Parade steps off at 9:00 a.m. at the corner of Deerpath and Atrium Drive.
Sunday, 7 July
- Mundelein – Kicks off from the Mundelein Metra Station at 2:00 p.m.
