  • Gurnee/Six Flags – Six Flags Great America will hold a fireworks display when the park closes at 10 p.m.  Make sure you’re at Hometown Square, Southwest Territory, or County Fair for some of the best views of these firework shows.
  • Round Lake Beach – Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center

Wednesday July 3

  • Deerfield – Brickyards Park
  • Gurnee/Six Flags – Six Flags Great America will hold a fireworks display when the park closes at 10 p.m.  Make sure you’re at Hometown Square, Southwest Territory, or County Fair for some of the best views of these firework shows.
  • Hawthorn Woods – Community Park
  • Lake Villa – Lakes Community High School
  • Wauconda – Cook Park on Bangs Lake

Thursday July 4

  • Antioch – Williams Park
  • Barrington – Barrington High School
  • Glencoe – Lakefront Park
  • Great Lakes – Ross Field, Naval Station Great Lakes

July Fourth Parades in Lake County

Thursday, 4 July 

  • Antioch – Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. from ACHS
  • Barrington – The parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. from Barrington High School
  • Deerfield – Bike Parade at 9:00 a.m., Full parade at noon stepping of from Deerspring Pool.
  • Glencoe – 3:00 p.m. starts at Central School
  • Hawthorn Woods – The parade starts at Falkirk and Carlisle at 10:00 a.m.
  • Highland Park – Children’s Bike and Pet parade are at 9:30 a.m. at St. Johns and Laurel Avenues. Full Parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. from that same corner.
  • Lake Bluff – The biggest parade in Lake County runs through downtown Lake Bluff and kicks off with the children’s parade at 9:15 a.m. followed by the main parade at 10:00 a.m.
  • Lincolnshire – 11:00 a.m. Starting at Swim Club on Riverwoods and Yorkshire Drive.
  • Vernon Hills – Parade steps off at 9:00 a.m. at the corner of Deerpath and Atrium Drive.

Sunday, 7 July

  • Mundelein – Kicks off from the Mundelein Metra Station at 2:00 p.m.

  1. I believe Lake Villa is having their fireworks on the 3rd at Lakes community High School. May want to confirm this with them.
