Free Easter Egg Hunts This Weekend

These events do not require pre-registration. Please follow the links for full information and call ahead in case of inclement weather. Little Lake County is not responsible for cancellations or changes.

Egg Hunt
13 April 9:00 -10:30 a.m. 

Lake Bluff Recreation Center
Collect eggs and see the Bunny. Free Family Fun. Find the golden eggs and win prizes. Bring a basket.

Annual Egg Hunt
13 April 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. 
Cook Park., Wauconda
Ages 3 to 10.
Grab your basket, friends, and family and hunt for all the eggs and treats you can find. A special appearance by Mr. Bunny will also be part of the fun. Bring your camera for those special pictures with the bunny. Read Little Lake County’s review.

Easter Egg Hunt
13 April 9:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Viking Park, Gurnee
Ages 2-10.
Participate in an egg hunt, make a fun craft, and get pictures with the Easter Bunny. Find a special egg and win a prize! New this year is egg hunts for both morning and early afternoon.

Spring Egg & Doggie Treat Hunt
13 April 10:00 a.m. 
Watts Park, Glencoe
Bring your basket and get ready for an all ages egg hunt! The Park District is hiding eggs filled with surprises for kids AND dogs throughout Watts Park. After the hunt, join us for crafts, games, and photos with the Spring Bunny.

Egg Hunt
13 April 10:00 a.m. 
Millennium Park, Lindenhurst
Free egg hunt for children ages 2-8 separated by age. Bring your own basket and a camera for photos with the Easter Bunny. Children ages 9-11 can participate in Egg Toss Challenge and Egg Spoon Races.

Annual Egg Hunt
13 April 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. 
Rule Park, Wildwood
Hop along and find eggs filled with candy and toys hidden in Rule Park! Hunt areas will be divided by age. One lucky golden egg will be hidden in each area. Find the lucky golden egg and receive a special prize! This event is rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. When you arrive, line up near your age division. Parents must limit their children to 10 eggs each at this event. Don’t forget to bring a basket!

Long Grove
Historic Downtown Long Grove is hosting an Egg Hunt at Buffalo Creek Park. There will be music, live chicks and bunnies to pet, crafts, wagon rides, and a lot of FUN! For children ages 1-10.

Community Easter Egg Hunt
13 April 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 
North Point Church, Winthrop Harbor
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Over 2,000 eggs will be ready for children ages 18 months to 5th grade to find.

Spring Egg Scramble
13 April 10:45 – 11:15 a.m. 
Wheeling High School Football Field
Free for ages 2 to 6.
Head out the turf field for fun and games. Bring your camera for a photo with the bunny and Wheeling Park District mascots Willie the Whale and Petie the Polar Bear before the hunt for candy-filled eggs begins! Egg hunting begins promptly at 10:45 a.m. Bring a basket to carry your eggs.

Lake Villa Easter Egg Hunt
13 April 11:00 a.m. 
Lehmann Park, Lake Villa
This annual egg hunt is for children ages 3-8, broken into 3 age group. Parents will be asked to remain behind the starting lines of each age group.  Hunters will want to bring a basket or a bag to carry their eggs.

Free Easter Egg Hunt
13 April 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. 
Hope Lutheran Church, Long Grove
Event features face painting, egg hunt, photos with the bunny, food, crafts, and bounce houses.

Lake Zurich Egg Hunt
13 April 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Breezewald Park, Lake Zurich
Ages 2 to 10 with an adult.
Get ready, get set, and GO for the annual Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny plans to hide surprises in designated areas. Each group will go into their area to hunt for their eggs. The hunt begins promptly at 12:00 p.m. (rain or shine).

Easter Egg Hunt 
13 April 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. 
Foss Park, North Chicago
Come participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt with a special appearance from the bunny himself. Children ages 8 and younger.
