If you are a golf fan like myself, or new to the game, this is a fantastic opportunity for kids to experience the course and learn more about golf. My oldest son Jordan is now nine and we started going out on the course when he was five. At first, he was a fan of cruising in the golf cart, grabbing a hot dog in the clubhouse, and practicing his putting. Now he has graduated to hitting shots on the course and we’re excited that his little brother Danny now joins us on the cart and takes on his former role. Thanks to the Lake County Forest Preserve Courses, these two guys can join me and I only have to pay for my round of golf!
