Give Back: Partners for Progress Plop O’Gold Event {Wauconda}

Partners for Progress Plop O'Gold Event

Partners for Progress runs a premier therapeutic riding center in Wauconda that provides equine based therapy to residents of Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin with physical, mental, and disabilities.  Since opening their doors in 2005 PFP has consistently provided scholarships to individuals unable afford their interventional therapies and has worked with various schools and organizations in the Lake County area so that all disabled individuals have the opportunity to receive the unmatched benefits of equine assisted therapy. They are able to provide these service thanks to the generosity  of donors and sponsors.

You have an opportunity to see why therapeutic riding is making such huge difference in the lives of children with autism, down syndrome and more at their “Grand Opening” Plop O’Gold Event. The event will include an open house with tours of the facility and demonstrations of the programs, time to meet the staff and horses, refreshments and a chance to win $2,000, $1,000 or $500 with the Plop O’Gold Raffle.

The only admittance fee for this event is at least one non-perishable food item per guest. Items collected will be donated to the Wauconda/Island Lake food pantry.
