To enter our contest, simply send us a private message via Facebook with an amateur photo from your life to SHOW us what “cabin fever” looks like in your home.  Please provide an email address so we may contact you.

Then, TELL us in 150 words or less what’s going on in your photo.  Tell us your unique, funny, scary, heartwarming or embarrassing stories to accompany your photo and we will post our favorites to an album on our Facebook page.  Entries will be accepted during the promotional period, February 15-24, 2017  (Contest begins at 11:30 a.m. CST on 2/15/2017 and ends at 7:00 p.m. CST on 2/24/2017.)

  • By entering you vouch that you are 21 years of age or older.
  • Enter by sending an original photo (no professional photos) to Little Lake County via private message that illustrates your own version of “cabin fever” during the promotional period February 15-24, 2017. Please include an email address in order to contact you.
    • By entering the contest you confirm that the image is your own original photo and you give Little Lake County and Goldfish Swim School – Mundelein permission to reproduce and share your photo for promotional purposes.
    • All subjects in the photo under age 18 are under your guardianship and you give permission for their image to be reproduced and shared for promotional purposes.

  • Only Facebook users may vote for the winning entry.
  • Each Facebook user has one (1) vote ONLY, and may vote by liking or reacting to the photo in the contest photo album posted on Little Lake County.  Votes/reactions made AFTER 7:00 p.m. CST on 2/24/2017 will not be counted.  The voting period is from 11:30 a.m. CST on 2/15/2017 and ends at 7:00 p.m. CST on 2/24/2017.  Comments will not qualify as a vote.  ALL reactions will count as one (1) vote, this includes Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad and Angry.
  • Winner will be selected after 7:00 p.m. CST on 7:00 p.m. CST on 2/24/2017 and announced on Facebook with tagging if available, or via Facebook messenger and/or email if provided.
    • Winner will have 48 hours to contact Little Lake County via private message on Facebook in order to retrieve their prize.
    • In the event the winner does not contact Little Lake County within 48 hours of announcement, the prize will be revoked and offered to the entrant with the second most votes, and so on and so forth until the prize has been retrieved.
