Goldfish Swim School Kid’s Birthday Bash {Mundelein}

Goldfish Swim School invited us to throw a birthday party for our son Rafael. What perfect timing, as his birthday is in the middle of November! It was very easy to set up the event from start to finish. Once a date was picked there is simply a form to fill out with the front desk and a few details to go over. Life has been busy this month, so my favorite part of the entire process was how hands-off I could be with planning and setting up the party. The only thing we brought were gift bags for our guests. Goldfish Swim School took care of all the rest! They are also very accommodating with food allergies and children with disabilities.

The party was set up in the waiting area, which has a perfect view of the pool and a lot of space for guests. When we arrived, the chalkboard was decorated with a birthday message for the birthday boy and there was a shirt just for him.

We were given the choice of playing games or doing a free-swim, but because we had a mix of swimmers and non-swimmers, we chose to do the free-swim.

After the free-swim, everyone rinsed off, dressed and made their way to the party space to eat pizza. We all worked up a hefty appetite after all the swimming. We could have brought our own food or cake, but we opted to take advantage of a pizza special that was offered through Goldfish Swim School. Cupcakes are already included in the party packages, so all we had to do was choose chocolate or vanilla.

We loved our Goldfish Swim School birthday party, and all of our guests agreed! It’s a perfect choice for any time of year, which works hugely in your favor if you have cold-weather babies. The staff made everything so easy for us. I’ll definitely use them again for future parties!
