Holiday Movies in Theatres {2016}

One of our favorite holiday traditions is family movie night. Cuddling up together with a big bowl of popcorn and watching favorite holiday classics as a family. This year take the movie night out of the basement and into the theatre with these classic holiday film showings and theatres near you.

Admission is only $5 general seating
Home Alone (PG) –  the highly successful and beloved family comedy about a young boy named Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) who is accidentally left behind when his family takes off for a vacation in France over the holiday season.

The Catlow Movie Theater, 116 W. Main St., Barrington
Admission is $6 Adults, $5 children ages 11 and younger. No advance sales, tickets sales start one hour before the show.
Miracle on 34th Street – When a nice old man who claims to be Santa Claus is institutionalized as insane, a young lawyer decides to defend him by arguing in court that he is the real thing.

10 December 10:00 a.m. – Holiday Canned Food Drive
Liberty Theater, 708 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville
Admission is one canned food item per person.
Elf (PG) – After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole is sent to the U.S. in search of his true identity.
