jBaby will offer families with children under two opportunities to connect and share valuable parenting resources and advice on topics important to them, such as preschools, raising children, local events and activities, and incorporating Judaism into daily life.

Starting in March 2015, jBaby will offer a series of classes similar to the programs they have been offering in the city.

  • And Baby Makes Three
Join other expectant couples for a dinner series focused on getting ready for a new baby! Get all your questions answered about what to expect those first few weeks home, information on bris, baby naming, and other Jewish rituals, must-have baby products, and first-hand advice from new moms.
  • Dad & Me: Stretch-n-Grow
No time during the week to work out? Join other dads and their tots for a Sunday morning Stretch-n-Grow movement class. Best for toddlers 1-2 years old.
  • jBaby Chicago Around Town with Temple Chai
Explore the hottest play spots in the northwest suburbs – with a Jewish twist. Enjoy stories at Barnes & Noble, cooking workshop at Sunset Foods, gross motor activities at Buffalo Grove Gymnastics, and more! Each session includes schmoozing with other families, playtime activities, and light snacks.
  • Music & Movement
Babies Join other parents (or caregivers) for 45 minutes of music, movement, parachute, bubbles, and more, followed by coffee, snacks & schmoozing. Best for children 2 -18 months (older siblings welcome to attend). Class meets weekly on Tuesdays.

jBaby also provides playgroups and special holiday events. A current class schedule can be found on their website.

In addition to classes, jBaby also provides a wonderful package of gear — called jBaby Swag, for new families to test out. Families can “claim their swag” by meeting with one of the jBaby Chicago Connectors. You can find more information online.
