Do you know of an extraordinary child here in Lake County who you would call a “hero?” Maybe they decided to collect hats and mittens for the homeless, maybe they ran a lemonade stand to buy school supplies for underprivileged kids, or maybe they are bravely facing the everyday struggle of a chronic illness while raising awareness of their disease.

These acts of kindness, great and small, are missing from our front pages and newsfeeds. We want to change that. Little Lake County has Partnered with Great Lakes Credit Union to recognize those children in our community whose hands may be small but whose hearts are big.

This program seeks to recognize inspirational, courageous and exceptional young people living in Lake County, (ages 15 and younger) who are making an impact in their communities and serving as role models.  To nominate a child simply fill out the nomination form below, or follow this link to complete a nomination form.
