Visiting the local farmers market is a favorite activity for my family. Aside from all the fresh produce, most markets (like Grayslake) have activities for children and music. It’s a great way to get out and get to know your community! Market season is just getting started, so find your local market and enjoy!

Keep in mind that Farmers Markets are not like shopping at your grocery store. You will be shopping straight from the farmer that grew your items. Jessica shares her tips and tricks for getting the most out of your purchases and visit in Tips for Shopping Your Farmers Market.
