Running, jumping, flipping and leaping are movements I see from my super energetic fifth grade son and his second grade brother on a daily basis. These two boys love to fly high and touch the sky and luckily for them, Rockin’ Jump in Buffalo Grove is here to keep them soaring and having fun throughout the whole year. Touted as the ultimate trampoline park, Rockin’ Jump indoor trampoline park has something for everyone. With an open jump area, foam pit, 360-degree slam dunk zone, X-beam jousting area, stunt bag and dodgeball arena, this a place where kids and adults can have some amazing family fun while also getting in a great workout.

With multiple open jump areas, this is the perfect spot for beginners to test out their jumping abilities and the place where you’ll find trampoline experts perfecting their flips. Surrounded by trampolines, jumpers stay one person to a trampoline, but are welcome to make their way down the corridor of what seems like endless trampolines. We love to bounce off of the side trampolines and also showcase our own special moves as we jump from spot to spot. The open jump areas should also be called the heart rate zone because you are sure to get your heart rate up in a hurry.

A unique attraction at Rockin’ Jump is the X-beam. Surrounded on both sides by a foam pit, two kids grab a jousting stick and battle to be the last person left standing. With a two out of three challenge, my boys had fun trying to topple the other into the pit to become the ultimate champion. This was an area they continued to gravitate toward throughout their hour of play.

No trampoline park is complete without a dodgeball court and Rockin’ Jump has a great setup. Team up with your friends or siblings or go toe to toe with them as you battle it out in a classic game of dodgeball. Soft gator skin balls allow for a safe and fun game that competitors of most any ages will enjoy. I recommend participants be at least six years old and older to enjoy this area. With a referee present to watch over the game, become the last person standing in the dodgeball arena and you will have bragging rights for the rest of the day.

If you have kids who love to bounce high and far and you would prefer they make a smooth and soft landing, we recommend the stunt bag. The pillowy, air-filled stunt bag is the right attraction to perfect flips and high flying maneuvers of a professional stunt person, while also receiving a feathery soft landing.

You can also move over to the foam pit to showcase your high-flying moves. With thousands of foam cubes ready to provide a soft landing, it’s your chance to touch the clouds while feeling like you’re landing in them too.

Our favorite attraction by far was the slam dunk zone. If you want to know what if feels like to soar like LeBron or throw one down like Kevin Durant, you can live out your NBA dreams here. Take the foam ball and add a few bounces and you’ll soon see yourself at rim level ready to throw one down. The rim is padded and allows for dunkers to put a little extra force into their monster jam. Not quite ready to soar as high yet? Even the little ballers can take shots and score two points for the win. With a smaller sized hoop and an official ten foot rim, dunkers of all ages and sizes can take their games to the next level.

Rockin’ Jump was such a huge hit with my boys and their cousin that we made a repeat trip just a week after our initial visit. It’s a place that provides many attractions to satisfy the likes of all jumpers. Be sure to check their hours and rates and plan your trip today. All jumpers need a signed waiver a pair of grippy socks in order to jump (available for purchase on site). Not a jumper? Parents can find the comfortable recliners and couches with flat screen TVs located next to the snack bar. The kids will enjoy their time while parents get some much needed rest and relaxation.
