Local Artisan: Apples and Nana’s Boutique
Apples and ‘Nana’s Boutique is an Esty Boutique run by Whitney Smith and her mother, known as ‘Nana to Whitney’s daughters. I have several items from Apples and ‘Nanas and have loved every one of them. Apples and ‘Nana’s makes handmade burp cloths, bibs, blankets, and boppy cases.
We have one of the minky lined baby blankets in chevron. We had it custom made when my last son was born. Even though we have four kids and lots of baby blankets its one of my favorites.

Lest you think that this is a shop just for those with babies, they also carry handmade children’s aprons and tooth fairy pillows. This one would be perfect for holiday baking:

We also have had the personalized and custom-made tooth fairy pillows. Finding handmade items for boys can sometimes be difficult and while my son really loves camo I don’t like everything being camo. Whitney worked with us to put together a great design that was masculine and had camo without being in your face camo.

Apples and ‘Nanas Boutique makes quality, unique, fun and functional infant and children’s items that cannot be easily found in a store. They are affordable and display a level of craftsmanship not found in most mass-produced store-bought items. Be sure to connect with them and add them to your holiday shopping list.
