The temperature is dropping fast and pools have been closed since Labor Day weekend. Why not give the gift that keeps on giving even in the cold weather with Goldfish Swim school? It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Goldfish for my kids swim lessons as you can see from previous posts.
Goldfish Swim School feels like a tropical getaway in the Midwest. Its 90-degree pool water temperature matches the air temperature in the pool room plus or minus a degree so your little one isn’t shocked by cool air when stepping out of the pool.
The facility is not only visually appealing, but the entire place looks and feels clean. There are plenty of changing stalls and showers for your use, including a row of showers and two private showers that are all equipped with no-tear shampoo.
No need to carry around a hairdryer because Goldfish has a hair-drying station and a swimsuit dryer. Forgot diapers in the car or at home? No worries! They even stock different sizes of diapers along with wipes.
If your little one isn’t potty trained yet, Goldfish Swim School asks that they use a cloth swim diaper. Disposable swim diapers are not allowed in the pool because they might break open and the beads can clog the filtration system. I’ve had a disposable swim diaper explode before and those beads get everywhere! Parent-to-parent tip: If you don’t already have a cloth swim diaper I highly suggest buying from the Goldfish store. We paid almost double for our first cloth swim diaper buying it online!
