Par-King Skill Golf

Touted as the World’s Most Unusual Golf Course, Par-King in Lincolnshire has been a Lake County favorite since 1955. Known for its creative holes and bold colors, Par-King should be at the top of the list for all miniature golf fans. Receiving multiple awards and earning a Top 10 mini-golf course in the U.S. by the Travel Channel, Par-King earned its royalty as the King of Mini Golf in Lake County. Special note: ALL children must be at least 48 inches tall to be admitted, and they only accept cash.

Waterfalls are a great feature to many mini-golf courses and The River’s Edge Adventure features a beautiful waterfall at their unique 18-hole course located just off of the highway in Highland Park at the Highland Park Learning Center. With a great natural landscape surrounding the holes, The River’s Edge Adventure course is sure to please all mini golf fans.

Aloha Falls Miniature Golf

Located off of Route 45 and Peterson Road in Libertyville, you will spot the Hawaiian themed Aloha Falls Miniature Golf center. A family favorite, Aloha Falls, offers two courses of 18 holes that are great for adults and children. The layout includes a beach course and a waterfall course that challenges the seasoned pro and offers fun for everyone. Aloha Falls also has a retro arcade for gaming fans to relive the classics on Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Sega systems.

Ballybunion Golf of Long Grove is the perfect place for golfers to practice their long-distance shots at the driving range or master their putting as they hit the Links of Ballybunion at their 18- hole miniature golf course. A great location on Route 83, putters of all ages will be happy they stopped and played this fun adventure style course.

For those looking to sharpen up the golf stroke on 18 holes of scenic mini-golf with waterfalls and also looking for more entertainment, Kristof’s Entertainment Center in Round Lake Beach is your place. After your round of fun in the sun at their outdoor mini-golf course, players can make their way to other attractions including go-karts, batting cages, and an arcade that has something for everyone!

The perfect spot to fulfill your cravings for ice cream, burgers, and other drive-in style foods along with scoring par or better on your mini-golf game is at the Lighthouse Miniature Golf course located next door to a Waukegan landmark, Shirl’s Drive-In.
