Jazz Dance is a uniquely American art form combining classical elements with those that reflect modern cultural influences such as jazz, vaudeville, and even today’s popular music.  It’s characterized by a high-energy style and syncopated rhythms where the dancer’s body and music work in tandem expression.

This year a portion of the proceeds from MOVE will be donated to Everybody Dance Now! Chicago. Everybody Dance Now! is a youth-run nonprofit organization that provides free, weekly dance programming to young people throughout the country who would otherwise not have access to such opportunities. They are dedicated not only to inspiring students through positive outlets that promote healthy and active lives but also to empowering our young leaders as agents of social change.
