National Robotics Week

National Robotics Week

Have a little inventor in your life?  C & A Robot Factory in Libertyville is the ultimate way to spend a day.  Not only do they offer open play for all ages and Summer LEGO and Science Camps, but they also feature the (ever convenient) drop-in class!  (Although you don’t have to sign up for a camp just to use the robotics programs, they still ask that you call ahead to register a spot because space is on a first come basis.)

Imaginations run wild in this creative atmosphere filled with tables that are really giant bins filled with LEGOS®.  Little creators of all ages love the opportunity to build a work of art and see learn how robotics work.   And while kids both young… and old… love to play with LEGOS®, there are also advanced classes available for kids 7+ that include working on a computer with WeDo Robotics!

This unique opportunity allows kids to build and program models that feature working motors, motion and tilt sensors and sounds using LEGO®’s WeDo Robotics software on computers.  (While there will be employees there to help out, this program is for kids that can already follow an on screen pictorial and can build independently.)

So bring your cameras and take pictures of your little Einstein’s computer model as they learn about robotics at C&A Robotics Factory.

  • Daily Play Fee $5 per child
  • Robotics Class: One project $20, Two projects $30 and must make reservations in advance
  • Not valid with any other discount or offer
