My son’s birthday is in July. Every year I try and schedule an outside birthday party for him and every year, so far, it either rains or is 110 degrees that day. This year I am thinking that I will have an indoor party for him so weather is one less stress for me. The problem with that is finding the perfect party place that will entertain his cousins who range in age from one year to six years old, as well as his friends from his preschool. However, Yu Kids Island has it all–and then some–for kids under 48″ tall.
Our writer Laura said, ” Yu Kids Island looks like a life-size version of the Candyland board game. The colorful, spacious play area has a number of attractions that will send your munchkins running from your arms with glee: a large moon jump, spinning “trees” with hanging “balls” that they can climb up or swing from, rotating play structures, a puppy teeter-totter, and even a separate play area for babies, to name a few.” (Read Laura’s complete review here.)
You may have been there in the past, or even attended our Birthday Express Tour. However, Yu Kids Island has made some changes to their parties since the tour. They can fit up to 20 children, so you can easily invite the whole preschool class, as well as a few cousins or siblings. On their Facebook page they describe their new party room as their “most creative party room yet” for their indoor facility. They have painted the whole area with bright and cheerful paint to match their candy-colored party tables and chairs, and play equipment. Unique to Yu Kids is also the addition of their birthday backdrop that is painted on their wall for the birthday child to take pictures in front of. My son is such a ham and I know he would love standing in front of it with his friends posing for pictures.

Too many times in the past I have not even enjoyed my son’s birthday party due to the stress of trying to make sure that he has a good birthday. The best part about parties at Yu Kids Island is the lack of stress on you, so you can just enjoy your child’s birthday. All party packages include free admission for all guests, complimentary WIFI, unlimited playtime for all guests on the day of the party, party supplies (napkins, cups, plates, utensils, and table cloths), an attentive party host, party set-up, clean-up, and help throughout your party, free invitations, and a special gift for the birthday child.
While outside food with the exception of a cake and a veggie tray are not allowed, food is available for purchase. You can order a pizza through them as well as bread sticks, wings, and other delicious food and drinks from Rosatti’s Pizza. You can also order balloons for your party guests.
So come empty handed! All you have to remember to bring to your party is your camera, the birthday child, and socks to wear while playing in the playground.
