Is learning a foreign language on your bucket list? Did you know that the best time to learn a language is when you are a child? Children pick up languages faster and easier than adults can. If you have ever thought about putting your child in a language class, then we have an event for you.
We will be hosting two playdates on Thursday, February 6, at Language Stars – Barrington Center {117 E. Northwest Highway, Barrington}. These events are free for Little Lake County readers, but we have a minimal number of spots available!
German Parent-Tot Play Date
9:15 a.m. This class is for children ages 1-3 and a parent or caregiver. It focuses on building functional vocabulary from the earliest ages. You will get to experience a full class just as it would be if you were to sign up. Parents and children will learn together through play, song, and activities.
Kids Only Spanish Class
10:30 a.m. This class is for independent 3-5 years old who should have some experience with attending class without mom or dad. This is a full immersion program that engages, entertains, and educates in the foreign language chosen. Children in the 3-5-year-old age group will focus on introductory vocabulary in the context of functional structure. They will absorb and practice the language while enjoying games, music, movement, snacks, and more.

Language Stars teaches foreign language classes for kids between the ages of 1 and 10 years old. Utilizing our high-energy, FunImmersion® method of instruction, students learn a foreign language from native speakers through games, art projects, music, and more.
Language Stars is offering a discount for any Little Lake county families who sign up for programs while at the playdate. Families will receive $75 off programs for the remainder of the winter/spring season. You can also receive 30% off summer tuition if you place a refundable deposit ($100) by March 15.
