Playground Safari Outpost #2: Garoon Gateway to Science, June 30th {Lake Zurich}

It’s time to get wild for Science!  The Little Lake County Playground Safari presented by Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital knows no boundaries, so our next outpost for adventure heads to Lake Zurich on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.

Garoon

JCC Chicago’s Lake County Campus will unlock the mysteries of the Garoon Gateway to Science for a very special evening safari.  Their state-of-the art outdoor science park is unlike any playground you have seen before.  Its various structures and exhibits invite children to explore, investigate, experiment and create. Garoon Gateway to Science

JCC Chicago is a premier provider of children’s contemporary education and services, and their staff will facilitate fun activities with all our young adventurers.

Kids will be able to create tinfoil boats that they can float in the parks multiple water features. They will also provide the science of slime allowing kids to take home their own slime!

In addition to the fun activities there will be two food trucks on hand to purchase pizza and ice cream. We’ve got your evening planned! Fill their bellies and minds and take them home tired.

Children of all ages with curious minds will discover wonder around every corner at the Garoon Gateway to Science.  Even the big kids won’t complain when you bring them along!

DON’T FORGET to bring your donations of diapers and/or wipes for The Diaper Depot (a project of Catholic Charities Lake County Services) , who will distribute these much-needed items to low-income families in our area. Opened packages are accepted.  Give a little, get a lot in return.
