On Wednesday, July 27, 2016 starting at 10:00 a.m., you will be able to experience the completely refurbished Kids’ Castle playground.  Originally constructed as a community project in 1997, the playground has been reborn through a grassroots effort led by the Vernon Hills Park District and community leader, Amy Lamberti.  The “Circle of Life” has indeed come full circle, and we now have a play palace that even Simba would be proud to call home!  Maureen details all the improvements in her recent Kids’ Castle playground profile.
