Lake County Responding to hunger is collecting non-perishable food donations the Northern Illinois Food Bank. So don’t forget to stop at the store on your way! We want to show them how much Little Lake County cares and stock the pantry for the rest of summer!
As a reward for your generosity, your kids will get to climb on and visit over 50 different BIG trucks from cities and businesses all over the county. From fire trucks to armored vehicles, snowplows and dump trucks. Have your cameras at the ready because your kids are going to be saying WOW! take my picture! Over and over again!
It’s just not a circus without an animal show but Lion Tamers are so 1900, we’re Dinosaurs Tamers! Frankie the Dinosaur from Animal Quest will be hanging out at our booth from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. (so plan on being there!). Frankie walks around, roars and loves to take selfies, as long as you hold the camera. Come and meet him and then book him for your own event!
What’s a carnival without prizes? One randomly selected registered ticket holder will take home a new Phlat Ball from Goliath Sports.
A Phlat what? It’s a ball that’s also a disc providing for endless summer fun that will keep your kids moving. We will have plenty on hand for you to try out and play with as well!
Everyone knows that the best part of the circus is the snacks! Forget the cotton candy and popcorn this is 2019 and we’re bringing the healthy snack that’s just as fun to eat! Our friends from GoGo Squeez will be on hand sharing their healthy and delicious snack pouches perfect for curbing those pre-bedtime munchies.
Of course, the stars of the show are Pediatric Interactions & Therapeutic Links their support has made this year’s tour possible. They offer services together and individually in Speech, Occupational, and developmental Therapies in Grayslake and McHenry with the shared goal of helping kids reach their greatest potential. They will be on-site for each event with activities for your kids and staff to talk with parents about the resources they have available and the services they provide.

- Our summer playground playdates are very popular events, please only register if you plan to attend and cancel if your plans change. No-shows prevent other families from attending.
- In addition to registering there is a waiver from APWA that must be completed. Registering through our ticketing site includes this waiver. If you walk-in you will be required to sign there.
- Please have a printed copy of your ticket or have it pulled up on your phone when you walk in. All attendees must register with a valid email address.
- Email addresses are shared with event sponsors.
- Please do not arrive early to allow our sponsors time to set-up. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.
