We go through apples fast! My kids are part fruit bat and just love eating them. However my husband has a insensitivity and really needs the apples cooked to enjoy them with out getting sick. It might be the easiest dessert to make ever, 20 minutes tops to put together. It uses a frozen puff pastry and only 3 apples. We made this with empire apples form Heinz orchard and the verdict was ….ooooooh Appley goodness!
Her family’s favorite is to saute them with butter and cinnamon. There are so many ways you can use them after that to top pancakes, waffles, crepes or oatmeal for a warm and yummy breakfast. If dessert is more your thing you can put it on top of ice cream or eat it plain.
