There’s so much more to robotics than meets the eye. Your budding engineers will enjoy seeing “Robotics in Action” at the College of Lake County in Grayslake on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.

This free STEM event will allow your family to discover the amazing world of robotics and watch local teams in action as they demonstrate their creations.

You’ll learn about the many different applications of robotic technology. When my children attended this event two years ago, they were fascinated by the flying drones while my husband enjoyed learning about how local SWAT teams utilize the technology to save lives.

There will be plenty of hand-on activities. You can try your hand at the controls or even create your own robot.

Walk-ins are welcome; however, advance registration is kindly requested to aid in planning. You may register in advance on the CLC website.
