Drawing on more than 2,000 years of tradition and 50 years of shows, the Chinese Circus of Beijing creates a true cirque-style carnival of dance, gymnastics, contortion, balancing, juggling and cycling that’s passed down through generations, with formal lessons and training beginning at the young age of 5 or 6.

Classical Kids LIVE! Presents Mozarts’s Magnificent Voyage

Take an incredible journey back in time with the Classical Kids LIVE! production of Mozart’s Magnificent Voyage featuring the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra. The story revolves around Mozart’s young son Karl, who wishes to spend more time with his famous father. When he finds a magic trunk, he uses it to travel back to Mozart’s childhood and the fantastic world of The Magic Flute, where he gains a great appreciation of his father’s extraordinary life. This performance features some of Mozart’s greatest works, and serves as a great entry point for young audiences to explore the power of chamber music.

Check out Goldstar for other events at Ravinia as they are added through out the summer.
