Spring has sprung! And your children may have also sprouted up. Time for some new clothes! Before you spend a fortune on pants that will be worn only a couple of months before shorts season, check out this spring resale events guide featuring all the events in the Lake County area.

New to the world of resale events? Items you may find include children’s clothing, shoes, sports and dance wear, sports’ equipment, toys, coats, books, videos, children’s furniture, outdoor equipment (sandboxes, bikes, small slides), and maternity clothing. They also have baby equipment, including pack and plays, Bumbo seats, Baby Bjorns, sleep sacks, bathtubs, diaper bags, and strollers—many of these items are perfect for the grandparents’ houses, too.

Spring Resale Events in McHenry County
KidStuff Resale
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1023 S. McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake
Saturday, April 27, 8:00 – 10:45 a.m.; Discount hour: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
$1 admission (donated to local food pantries).
The event takes major credit cards. You may bring a laundry basket or tote to collect all your goods in. No strollers allowed on the sales floor. You may also bring your children, however, if you actually want to shop, I find it quite difficult with kids underfoot at these types of events—they are in awe of the selection of toys.
