LLC Gives Back: Local. Family. Fun. It isn’t just the mission. It’s Little Lake County’s vision. What can we do to help our local families? Every quarter LLC explores a local nonprofit organization, introduces them to our readers, and provides examples of ways to make a positive impact in our community.
As a parent of four children I can’t imagine not being able to change my child’s diaper whenever they needed it. For many mother’s diaper shortage is a reality, and no mom should have to choose between food and diapers.
Monday June 13, 2016
9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Join Rey, from Star Wars the Force Awakens and Miss Bonnie as we enjoy stories and make crafts. A representative from The Diaper Depot will be on hand to tell us a little bit about the organization and how families can help. We will also be collecting diapers and wipes. All sizes are needed and open packages are accepted.
Plan to have breakfast or lunch (or both!) because all purchases will have double rewards! When you order and say that you are eating for The Diaper Depot a portion of your sale will go to the charity. If you make a purchase during our event you will get to take a picture with Rey by Dot Dot Dot Photography!
Tickets are not required for this event however we do ask that you RSVP on the Facebook Event so that Miss Bonnie has enough supplies on hand.
The Diaper Depot is our second quarter charity partner as part of our Little Lake County Gives Back program, a community outreach effort to connect not-for-profit organizations with our readers. For more information on the program, please contact Melissa at [email protected]
