  1. Songbird Studio Fall Recital – November 12
    ? Enjoy the sounds of Songbird Studio students as they perform and show off their individual talents.
  2. The Chicago Huddle taped LIVE – Tuesdays
    ? Every Tuesday at Chili’s Grill & Bar in Vernon Hills you can watch a taping of the Chicago Huddle and get a chance to meet members of your Chicago Bears! Chad gives us the scoop on what it’s like and what to do when you go.
  3. 2nd Annual Midwest RAILS Display at Hawthorn Gardens – November 17
    Come see the Midwest RAILS display as it winds its way through the greenhouse.
  4. Nutcracker Ballet Storytime: Clara’s Dream – November 18
    ? Join the dancers of LoMastro Performing Arts Academy for a magical storytime performance of Clara’s Dream at the Lake Bluff Library.
  5.  Touch-a-Truck – November 18
    ? Climb aboard police cars, fire trucks, park district vehicles and more at Rule Park in Wildwood.
  6. Wonderland Express Opens – November 24
    $12 for Adults and $10 for children – Tickets are half price on Tuesdays. Wonderland Express is an annual holiday extravaganza featuring magnificent model trains, magical and glittering indoor snow, and meticulously crafted Chicago landmarks in miniature. Plus, see intricate ice carvings and hear beautiful music from carolers.
  7. Village of Lake Villa Annual Lighted Christmas Parade – November 25
    ? The parade kicks off from Palombi School at 5:00 p.m. and winds its way through the neighborhoods to downtown Lake Villa and ends at the train station.  Immediately afterwards, the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Lehmann Park begins.
  8.  Turkey Cupcakes – November 18
    $30 per child. Children ages 2-6 (with caregiver) can take a special culinary adventure at Taste Buds Kitchen Bannockburn and learn how to make oh-so delicious chocolate cupcakes decorated to look just like a turkey. * Registration required. *
  9. Santa’s Arrival – November 9
    ? Welcome Santa to Gurnee with a parade through the mall. Enjoy milk and cookies while Santa reads ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.
  10. National Toy Store Day – November 11
    ? All day FREE fun with crafts, character visits, raffles and giveaways.
