Touch a Truck Events in Lake County

My guys love trucks and cars! They could spend all day talking about them and playing with them and the only thing that trumps that is climbing on them! Even my girls love getting a chance to see big trucks up close. We’ve rounded up some upcoming Touch-a-Truck events to make your little trucker happy, no matter their size!

Big Trucks!
Saturday, August 1, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Ron Beese Park, 50 Rotary Dive, Barrington
Climb aboard fire engines, big semis, tow trucks, dump trucks and more. There will be dozens of vehicles and activities for the whole family, including big wheel races, a trackless train and inflatables.

Friday, August 7, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Belvidere Park, 412 South Lewis Ave., Waukegan
Explore, discover, and touch Police and Fire Vehicles and more!

Saturday, August 29, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Lindenhurst Park District Community Center, 2200 Grass Lake Rd., Lindenhurst
Kids of all ages are welcome to see, climb, and explore all kinds of vehicles! We’ll have: dump trucks, fire engines, Police and Emergency Vehicles, garbage truck, cow car, caboose float car, tractor and more.

Rev up your imagination and meet your hometown heroes! Climb into the coolest trucks, tractors, cars and more to check out the view from the drivers seat.  Tasty treats will be available for purchase.

Cook Memorial Public Library – Cook Park, Church Street between Brainerd and Milwaukee, Libertyville
Saturday, October 17, 10:00 a.m. – 112:00 p.m.
Young ones can explore community service vehicles and meet their friendly drivers. Climb aboard a fire truck, a high-reaching cherry picker, the library’s own Bookmobile, and more.
