Apple picking is one of those fall activities that my whole family enjoys. We all have fun picking fresh fruit from the trees and then eating apple cider donuts afterward. It has become a yearly tradition that we all look forward to. In the past, we’ve gone to the same orchard year after year. However, after learning about all the options we have in Illinois, we decided to branch out this year and try something new. There are plenty of options, whether you are looking for an orchard with entertainment for the whole day or just a small, family-run orchard to spend an hour picking apples. Our 2018 list will have the perfect place for you.
As always, we recommend that you call ahead to check picking conditions BEFORE you gather up the kids and head out.
