They know all about family fun at Miller’s Dog N’Suds! After all, they’ve been making their classic American food for friends and neighbors for the past 45 years. There’s really nothing not to love about this classic and unique spot that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back into the 1950’s complete with classic music and muscle cars.
*Unique Experience: It’s a drive-in! Drive right in, order, and they’ll bring the food out to your car. And don’t forget their homemade Root-Beer! (It’s a must!) Kids night is every Wednesday from 4-9, and kids meals are only $2.50.
Bill’s Pizza and Pub
One word. Pizza. We’re talking some of the best pizza around, and we’re not the only ones that think so. Recently named best pizza by Chicago’s Best, Bill’s Pizza and Pub’s double decker pizza is two pizzas in one and it’s even better than you think it is.
*Unique Experience: When you get to the table, you’ll get a basket of peanuts but the best part is that everyone will love throwing the shells right on the floor! No worries about leaving a mess here! Also, there’s an arcade for kids, and the whole place is decorated with a north woods theme.
Choose between Lindy’s Landing’s indoor dining room, or venture outside to enjoy the weather on their deck overlooking beautiful Bangs Lake in Wauconda. Enjoy lakeside dining beside their very own sandy beach! Their menu has something for everyone and there’s always something new to try.
*Unique Experience: With a tiki-style bar and picnic benches along their perfectly sandy beach, just bring bathing suits for the kids because they’re going to want to splash in the water at this perfect summer oasis.
A favorite choice for casual dining, Chessie’s Restaurant has a menu that suits cravings for some classic, down home cooking, or for a new fusion of flavors you haven’t experienced before. The cater parties, but the kids are going to want to dine in. And Here’s why..
*Unique Experience: One of the dining areas in Chessie’s is actually a vintage train car that has been converted to suit the restaurant! Kids (of all ages…) will love this experience. It’s truly unique and something everyone will remember.
