We asked our Fairy Godmother at Great Lakes Credit Union to grant us someplace warm where we could find fun and friendship through the long, cold winter… so she led us on The Fairytale Trail!

2 Superheroes- 1 Fairy – 1 Queen
15 Pizzas
45 Cupcakes to decorate
200+ Children
300+ Snacks
Hundreds of Smiles
And a heaping helping of Magic!
We invited you to bundle up, get out of the house, and join us at local businesses to meet your favorite characters from Premier Princess Parties, listen to stories, and take part in fun activities. Your response was overwhelming! Tickets for one event were completely gone in under two minutes!
At our first stop, Bella’s Bouncies Indoors in Lake Villa started us off with a bang and a bounce. Kids met everyone’s favorite Web-Crawler who lived up to his name, climbing, jumping, and flipping his way through the inflatables.
At Whole Foods Market Deerfield, kids decorated cupcakes and made their own pizzas in the Culinary Classroom. The smell of pizza baking was bound to attract wildlife, so we shared our creations with a Pizza-Loving Turtle with mad martial arts skills.
Our third event was derailed by every mother’s worst enemies, the dastardly duo of stomach flu and snowstorm with their minion sidekick sleet. But keep reading to find out how Little Lake County will reap our revenge…
We kept our chins up and eased on down the road to Cacao Sweets & Treats (formerly) in Grayslake. We sprinkled pixie dust on our cupcakes while everyone’s favorite Pixie read to us from “What Do Fairies Do All Day?” Two lucky kids got their own copies to take home and everyone enjoyed the organic and natural treats.
Finally, for our Grand Finale, the Ice Queen blew you away with storytime, arcade games, and discounted ice skating at Rink Side Sports & Entertainment Center in Gurnee. Mama Olsen Photography was there to take professional portraits with the Ice Queen and all her new friends. She even melted our hearts with a song…
Throughout our travels, KIND snacks helped to fuel the journey with their wholesome grains bars.
This playdate series would not have been possible without the partnership of Great Lakes Credit Union, Premier Princess Parties, and our other amazing partners.
Thank you for following Little Lake County on our Fairytale Trail! We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
