We Made an Impression with Advocate Condell Medical Center!

Seriously, my ovaries are still tingling….

Impressions of the Heart

Thank you to all our guests who brought their precious little babies (and big babies!) to our Impressions of the Heart event on May 3rd with Advocate Condell Medical Center.

Impressions of the Heart

We had such a wonderful time making unique, keepsake artwork for Mother’s Day using baby’s little feet.  The staff at Artist @ Heart helped everyone to create beautiful projects in canvas and ceramic.  I think a new generation of Artsy Tots has been born!

For the little ones old enough to sit on their own, Language Stars of Deerfield/Lake Forest introduced them to FunImmersion®, their proven method of teaching young children foreign language through play.  Even the babies paid rapt attention to the German storytime, and it’s no wonder – Language Stars instructors are so energetic and engaging!  Classes are available for children as young as 1-year old in Spanish, French, Mandarin, German or Italian at the Deerfield/Lake Forest location.

When the hard work of creating our masterpieces was complete, all the guests enjoyed breakfast courtesy of Advocate Condell Medical Center along with yummy Healthy Grains Bars from KIND Snacks.  Dr. Natalie Sgarlata, a pediatrician with Advocate Children’s Medical Group, was kind enough to speak with our guests and answer all their children’s health questions and concerns.

Three lucky moms took home some amazing prizes.  Medela awarded a Pump in Style Advanced Breastpump. Medela is dedicated to to helping moms successfully breastfeed for as long as they choose, and they are headquarted in nearby McHenry!

Our friends at Goldfish Swim School – Mundelein gave away a full month of free swim lessons.  Be sure to mark your calendars for their Safety Day on May 14th from 4:30-7:30 p.m. This FREE event features water safety presentations,  open swim, bounce house, refreshments, face painting and more.

Babypage.com knows that today’s parents don’t have a lot of time to keep up with a traditional baby book. That’s why they have created an easy online method of tracking baby’s milestones with easy questions and prompts that automatically pull your info onto beautifully designed pages.  Create digital books or soft/hardcover books with ease! One lucky mama took home a Deluxe Starter Kit which includes one softcover and two hardcover books, two shareable digibooks, premium backgrounds, and free shipping for a year.
