When I think of Thanksgiving, I think of gathering the family around the dining room table for a delicious Thanksgiving feast. But then the stress of the immense amount of shopping, cooking, and cleanup tarnishes the luster a bit. As a mom, I do have that ‘mom-mentality’ that I should be able to do it all. That whipping together a picture-perfect holiday meal while sipping a glass of wine should be no sweat. This year I am admitting that I choose simplicity over stress! Readily available in most areas, Jewel-Osco offers 3 versions of a traditional Thanksgiving feast. The Classic offers either turkey or ham with a couple of sides, and the Signature offers a turkey with all of the bells and whistles. They offer either a Traditional Whole Roasted Turkey or a brined and smoked turkey breast with cranberries, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade stuffing, buttered corn, parker house rolls, and choice of pumpkin or apple pie.
