Wizards Weekend, June 17-18, 2017 {Antioch}

Wizards and Witches from across Lake County will assemble on June 17-18, 2017 for the 1st Annual Wizards Weekend in Downtown Antioch.

This FREE event invites all nature of magical folk and muggles alike to dress as their favorite character and participate in games, contests and general merriment as the streets of Antioch are transported to the wizarding world.

While this event is free, you must pre-register your child if they wish to participate in the Kids Hogswart School of Magic for kids ages 8-13 on June 17 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.  Registrants will receive a Hogswart acceptance letter, and attend classes in Herbology, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts and Divination.  Space is limited.

Not able to register for Hogswart’s?  Not to worry.  Village Shops and a Wizard & Muggle Craft Faire will be open and you can participate in costume contests, scavenger hunts and a horcrux search for a chance to win magical prizes.  There will even be Butterbeer!
