Summer and pools go hand in hand, you can’t have one without the other, however drowning is one of the top causes of death (in some age groups the top) for children under 14. You can never be too safe around water when it comes to children!
The World’s Largest Swim Lesson was put together by a coalition of water safety organizations to raise awareness and to provide a national spotlight on the importance of swim lessons.
The World’s Largest Swim Lesson event will include a 30-minute swim lesson, for free, for everyone. Every location participating will do the same lesson starting at 10:00 a.m., think about that hundred of kids doing the same thing at once! The lesson, developed by water safety experts, is a beginners lesson so that no matter the skill level everyone can participate!
