The nation’s top water safety and training organizations are joining forces to present the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL), to build awareness about the vital importance of teaching children to swim to help prevent drowning. Water parks like Barefoot Bay and pools around the globe will host local WLSL lessons simultaneously in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record™.
Drowning remains the leading cause of accidental death for kids ages 1 to 5 and swimming is a life-saving skill and vital tool to prevent drowning. WLSL was created to serve as a platform to help local community organizations to work together to tell this important story. Come join us at Barefoot Bay on June 18 at 10:00 a.m. Barefoot Bay is located at 1461 Midlothian Road in Mundelein. Call 847-566-8661 for more information.
