Yoga Relay for Love, August 29-30, 2015 {Lake Zurich}

It’s not a revolution, it’s a LOVEolution!

Loveolution yoga relay

The LOVEolution Project hosts The Yoga Relay for Love on Saturday, August 29th through Sunday, August 30th at Paulus Park in Lake Zurich.

What is a Yoga Relay you may ask?

The Yoga Relay is a 24-hour fundraiser to create community togetherness, despite the individual challenges we all face.  Expect to experience love, connection, and empowerment as it flows through this 24-hour event. There will be hourly yoga classes, many great teachers, food and lots of fun activities – rain or shine! (In case of severe weather, event will relocate to the Barn at Paulus Park.)

How It Works

The Yoga Relay is a family-friendly, overnight event that is accessible to every one, at every level, in any shape.  All you need is love!

The first yoga class will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29th and will conclude at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30th.  That’s 24-hours of non-stop yoga to benefit Take A Stand – a local organization that focuses on erasing the shame that surrounds addiction,  as well as encouraging youth sobriety.

Each yoga class lasts 50-minutes and will accommodate all abilities. There will be a 10-minute layover between classes to allow team members to switch. Each team needs only one mat and a minimum of six members to participate throughout the 24 hours.

Paulus ParkTeams should feel free to camp out under the stars at Paulus Park. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to participate in activities while cheering on their team.  Join an existing team or create your own.

Registration is only $15; however, The LOVEolution Project requests each participant make a goal to raise at least $100 (not mandatory.) 100% of monies raised will go to Take A Stand.  Raise at least $100 and earn an event T-shirt.
